It’s not every day that a beautiful lingerie model captures the media spotlight because of her religious convictions. But Victoria’s Secret starlet Kylie Bisutti, 21, has decided to quit modelling because she felt it chashed with her Christian faith.
In 2009, Bisutti beat 10,000 other aspiring models to take on the coveted role, but she’s now determined to reserve her body for her husband.
“I just want to do everything I can to keep my marriage special,” she said. “My body should only be for my husband and it’s just a sacred thing.”
Bisutti felt she was becoming a poor role model for younger girls. “I’m Christian, and reading the Bible more, I was becoming more convicted about it,” she said. In a decision that reflects both courage and modesty, Bisutti said she will keep modelling but will not wear lingerie.
Call me a prude if you will, but that’s what I call a good news story.
